Jesus the Christ, the world-renowned Mesa Easter Pageant, is an outdoor musical production depicting the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is the largest annual outdoor Easter pageant in the world with a cast of more than 400 and many more volunteering behind the scenes. Over 100,000 people of different faiths and beliefs see it every year.
This free event takes place on the beautiful grounds of the Mesa Arizona Temple. The Pageant has been a tradition in Mesa for 87 years and is a gift to the community from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The current soundtrack used in the spectacular production debuted in 2022 and was written and composed by Rob Gardner and recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra and Spire Chorus.

No tickets or reservations needed.
9,500 chairs are available on a first-come first-served basis. Arrive early to claim yours!
Attendance tip: Come during the FIRST WEEK of performances (April 9-12) to avoid the typically larger crowds closer to Easter weekend.
The show begins at 8 pm each night.
The outdoor area is located on the north lawn of the Mesa Arizona Temple, 455 East Main Street in downtown Mesa.
Please follow these guidelines for saving seats:
A person MUST be present to save seats.
A person should NOT save more than 4 seats.
Seats being saved will be filled after 7:30 pm, so everyone should be in their seats by then.
Unattended items left for the purpose of saving seats will be removed and taken to the Visitors’ Center, 455 E. Main St.
Attendees are encouraged to use Valley Metro Light Rail, which has a stop at Mesa Drive/Main Street, within a short walking distance of the venue.
400 headsets are available at each performance to provide live Spanish interpretation.

Spanish: There are 400 headphones available each evening for Spanish interpretation. Please find them at the top of the stairs on the south side of the seating area.
